This a quick review of 'Me and Art' we decided to try this place out because it was so cold and we just need a hot coconut chai latte...

Coconut Chai Latte

My food bestie and I checked out the 'Me and Art' vegan cafe in Surry Hills. On first impression's this place is very cute, very homey (probably because it use to be a house). The place is quite small so there are limited seats but the backyard seating area is nice.

The menu is small consisting of few usual vegan breakfast options and a small lunch menu. Mel ordered the "Lamington smoothie" and "Zucchini fritters", whilst I ordered a iced coconut chai Latte and a "Pumpkin Satay pie." We received our drinks, the lamington smoothie was good but was overpowered by the coconut. My coconut chai was disappointing, it was really watered down by the ice. But when I spoke to the staff, he was happy to exchange it to a hot chai latte. It was quite nice but lacked the spiciness due to the coconut milk infusion.

Our meals came and we were surprised by the zucchini fritters. As it's fritters to salad ratio was very uneven. The two small fritters were about the size of my saucer cup, which left Mel feeling unsatisfied. Whilst my pumpkin satay pie was standard - a nice filing with a filo/phyllo(?) pastry crust.

Me and Art is a very cute and homey little cafe that we think is great for a coffee date but not for a lunch date.
