Wicker Park is a nice alternative suburb to visit while in Chicago. It is more relaxed and more slowed down than the center hustle of Chicago. It has a nice row of eateries, vintage shops and music stores that sell vinyl. I found an awesome Led Zepplin vinyl for my friend back at home. Wicker Park can be described as the Newtown of Sydney, Fitzroy of Melbourne, Shoreditch of London. We ate at the Bongo Room and although we had to wait to get seated it was all less than twenty minutes.
This is a twenty two year old who uses this blog as a platform to display her pictures as she travels around Sydney and the world. Focusing on the food, the people and the places as a way to express her perspective of the world.
